Cable & Deadpool: Paved With Good Intentions

‘With Civil War tearing the Marvel Universe apart, only one man can sew it back together: Deadpool ? Well, who else would make the perfect mercenary hero-hunter? In an effort to do his part, Deadpool crosses paths with the Great Lakes Avengers, and slices and dices his way to Daredevil, the Man Without Fear Plus: What happens when the Merc with a Mouth faces the Sightless Scarlet Sentry? And where does Cable stand in all this? Where he always does: pretending he’s above the fray. Then why is he having a secret meeting with Captain America?’

Is it just me, or is the brief synopsis for a graphic novel harder to write than for a book? Is it because there’s a very basic story line that is dragged out over several comics? Maybe it’s because when you write a synopsis you give out too many spoilers? I don’t know. But I am open to your thoughts.

Paved With Good Intentions is full of twists and turns. It was definitely the most interesting Cable and Deadpool that I have read! Filled with great art and lots of humour (Deadpool is brilliant for this), I can see why Ross loves this series so much.

My only negative feedback is that you really have to read all of it in order to truly understand it. It really isn’t a stand alone.

My recommendation: Read it all in order, it makes more sense.
