Today’s session of Babes’n’Books focused interactive books as they encourage infants to have a more active role in reading and can make it a more enjoyable experience. Interactive books include puppet books, texture patches, flaps, tabs and sounds.

Today’s feature author was Jeanette Rowe. We have actually read quite a few of her children’s books already. I did not know this but she is actually vey successful. I had never heard of her until borrowing books for V at the library.

At the end of the session, Melinda came up and thanked us for attending every session. It was so nice for her to do so. As I explained to Melinda, V knows when we are going to the library. She understands the bag of books and when we walk into the library she is excited. We also have no excuse o not go, it is right across the road. Literally.
